Pray for our mothers and fathers who are choosing to kill their innocent babies most often because of their own fears.
Pray to our innocent babies who have lost their lives through abortion that they may intercede to our heavenly Father for his mercy and love! Love heals all trials and tribulations and God is a God of pure love!

The Nutcracker
Elizabeth at the Boston Opera House!!
Elizabeth and I saw The Nutcracker today at the Boston Opera House. We stopped at Fajitas and 'Ritas first for a nice lunch.
Great day was had by both of us!
3rd Sunday in Advent - already
Today's Gospel reading speaks of St. John the Baptist. Luke Ch 3 - "Now the people were filled with expectation, and all were asking in their hearts whether John might be the Christ." John tells them that "one mightier than I is coming."
Fr. Andrew Hofer, O.P. writes in the Magnificat Advent Companion - "This Gospel expands our expectations for the only one who can fill our heart's desire. No family member, friend, minister, or social leader can do that. ...Hope in him never disappoints."
I keep you all in prayer as we journey towards the coming of the Christ Child.

Advent season preparation - Week 1
During this Advent season, we might want to find one person we have had trouble forgiving and ask for the grace to forgive that person. Forgiveness from the heart is a great healer.
As Dale O'Leary states in the readings from the Magnificat Advent Companion: "We are told to forgive our brothers from our heart, yet many say the words (found in the Our Father) 'Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us,' and then in almost the next breath say, 'I will never forgive.' They don't understand that building one's emotional life on unforgiveness is like building on sand."
Let us pray for each other as we await the coming of the Christ Child. God bless!!

They pray together; they attend Mass and receive Communion together; they practice other devotions together; they make their home a little sanctuary, with pictures and statues to remind them of Our Lord or the Blessed Mother. The father who believes and trusts in God is best equipped to perform his functions as head of the family. Aware of his responsibilities to the Lord for his children, he strives to instill moral virtues by his own example. The mother who holds the Blessed Virgin as her model develops the love and patience which nurture the spiritual and emotional growth of her children.
First Sunday in Advent
This is a great day to make a new commitment to your Catholic faith in preparation for the birth of the Christ Child. If you truly believe that God exists, what better way is there than prayer to develop your relationship with your creator. We are all but creatures living life fully in preparation for eternal life - if you believe. Faith is a gift given to all of us. We must just accept the gift. Now during this beautiful Advent season would be a good time to accept the gift. We are all called to holiness now. God bless!!

DiPietro Wedding

Transforming Love
Life is all about transforming love which is the love of our Creator. It is written about many times in the Bible especially in the Gospels. Jesus' first miracle was the transforming of water into wine and his last before the Resurrection was the changing of bread into his body and wine into his blood. And then there were the many miracle in between - the healing of the deaf, the sinners, the broken. God desires that we all be transformed into creatures of perfect love, hope and faith. We just need to open our hearts to him and receive his great transforming love. So easy, but so hard. The siren song of the world is so loud and more real to so many. Read today the stories of God's great love and open your hearts!
