Easter: Day Twenty-Six, Friday April 30, 2010
John 14: 1-6
"Jesus said to his disciples: 'Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me. In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be. Where I am going you know the way.' Thomas said to him, 'Master, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?' Jesus said to him, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Jesus is present within each of us along with the Father and the Holy Spirit. The Trinitarian love is a constant. If we are too busy with exterior stuff, we will never discover the treasure found within us.

St. Catherine of Siena, pray for us!!

"I am who am; you are she who is not." (God to Saint Catherine of Siena)
"When you pray, go to your inner room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you." (Matthew 6:6-8)
Unless God wills our existence, we do not exist. Unless God desires our presence, we are not present. But God does desire that we exist. God does desire our presence. Pure Love which is God cannot not desire our existence. We are created by pure love and it is His desire that we live in pure love. We are known by our fruits. If we live in pure love, we exude that love in our daily lives. Do you?

O Sweet Jesus, it is for you that we yearn. It the lack of you that causes us to seek and search. Come, sweet Jesus, into our hearts. Make us know your presence that we might worship and adore you all the days of our lives that when we die we may live with you for all of eternity. Amen
